The long anticipated debut album release of J.Rilla's album entitled "Born Again".James Harney professionally known as J.Rilla is a new up and coming gospel rap artist out of Indianapolis IN and is taking the industry by storm! He was once known as an established secular artist with five albums completed between 2008-2013. He was working on his 6th album “Last of a Dying Breed” set to be released summer 2013 until he had a vision the lord had put upon his heart in a dream to use his gift for building up a torn generation. He accepted his calling and gave his life to Christ November 2013. After a troublesome lifestyle and number of run-ins with authorities he finally understood what route JESUS wanted him on this whole time.
J.Rilla started running full throttle for the lord and got back in the studio and start working on his debut album “Born Again”. He released his first single “Praise Him” spring 2014 and start ministering his gift anywhere the lord sent him. Then one performance he was noticed by Valor Music Inc.’s CEO Rodney E. Phillips for his god giving ability and offered a record deal. J.Rilla signed to Valor Music Inc.
